One Direction was in London, England on Sunday night (Dec. 14) for the 2014 "X Factor" UK Finale. They performed "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" sharing the stage with Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood. You can check out a video of the performance above.

At the end of the special night, Ben Haenow was named winner for the season over Fleur East.

"Where Do Broken Hearts Go" was released as a promotional single in November and this could be a sign that it will follow as the third single. Harry Styles was a co-writer on the track.

Tomlinson tweeted earlier in the weekend, "Been sick all night. Still really unwell. Absolutely gutted!!. So sorry to let our fans down at NRJ. :( sorry :( hope the lads smash it !! Thanks for all the lovely messages !! I've felt shit all day but all the get well soon stuff is cool :) I just gotta get right for the final."

Thankfully he was better for the performance by Sunday. "Feeling better today ! So so excited for tonight ! @TheXFactor," tweeted Tomlinson on Sunday morning.

It was only four years ago that Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson were contestants on the "X Factor" themselves and now they are one of the biggest musical acts in the world. So that is definitely the success that all of these new contestants are dreaming about.

One Direction released their fourth studio album FOUR on November 17 which features "Where Do Broken Hearts Go".

Their latest album Midnight Memories released on November 25, 2013 and went straight to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 (along with several other countries). They became the first group in history to debut at No. 1 with their first three albums.
