Hunter Hayes received his fifth Grammy nominated for 'Best Country Solo Performance' last week. The 22-year-old country music star shared his feelings on the most recent nomination.

"To be nominated for a GRAMMY is one of the most exciting things that can happen in your career," Hunter shared in a statement. "For 'Invisible' to be nominated is so special for me and my co-writers and the phenomenal team who recorded this record. This is one of the happiest days of my career so far."

Hunter just wrapped up his Tattoo (Your Name) Tour feature Dan + Shay and The Railers as support. The tour kicked off October 30th in University Park, Pa. and just wrapped up on Saturday night, December 13th in London, ONT, Canada.

"This tour is definitely going to be different than anything we've ever done before...and maybe anyone has ever done. It's a lot of firsts not only for us, but even for the fans who have seen our show before," Hunter shared before the tour kicked off. "Every tour is all about the fans, but this one proves it. Not only are they going to be part of the show, they are the show...you'll see what I mean!"

Hayes released his self-titled debut album in 2011. It reached number seven on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top Country Albums, and has sold over 1.1 million copies. Its most successful single, "Wanted", has sold over 3.5 million copies and made Hayes the youngest male act to ever top the Billboard Hot Country Songs.

His second studio album, Storyline, was released on May 6, 2014 and was led by its first single, "Invisible".

Hayes' commercial success and his talent both as a songwriter and instrumentalist has prompted Billboard to call him the Leader of Country Music's Youth Revolution.

He has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won the Country Music Association Award for New Artist of the Year in 2012, along with three BMI Awards.
