Former talk show host Jay Leno, 64, who appeared Friday at the final episode of Craig Ferguson's The Late Late Show was asked if he ever got fatigued while seated behind the desk interviewing one celebrity guest after another guest. Leno replied: "No, it was the people on the show! The classic example is I had one of these reality stars on... Trista! From one of these Bachelorettes... So, I'm sitting and I'm looking at the side of her head. I couldn't be less interested. I've never seen this stupid reality show - you know what it was. So I said, 'Well thank you. I go out in the parking lot and there's this woman standing next to me with her boyfriend. She goes, 'Hey can I have your picture?' and I said, 'Sure, how are you doing?' And she says, 'Good.' I said, 'What's your name?' And she says, 'What? Trista.'"

Trista remarkably handled being dissed on air by Leno. On Saturday, she tweeted: "After 10 yrs, ironic that I'm the topic of convo on @CraigyFerg last show. Thx 4 the shoutout @jayleno! Next time, plz mention my book. ;)."

Trista, dubbed as The Original Bachelorette, is promoting the new book she authored, Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart. She married Ryan Sutter, the contestant she chose back in 2003, and now is mother to two kids. The couple, who recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary together, continue to make television appearances every now and then. They were among the cast of season 3 of the reality TV show Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

Leno officially left The Tonight Show on February 6, 2014. His last guests for the finale included Billy Crystal, Garth Brooks, Jack Black, Kim Kardashian, Jim Parsons, Sheryl Crow, Chris Paul Carol Burnett, and Oprah Winfrey. He was succeeded as host by Jimmy Fallon.
