In about two months from now, the world will witness the film adaptation of the erotic best-selling book by EL James, Fifty Shades of Grey.

The author herself had posted behind-the-scene snaps of the anticipated movie, but were just a teaser on what's coming. Even supporting roles were kept under wraps until the director and James are ready to feed us the information.

Filming took place in Vancouver instead of Seattle, where the book clearly takes place. The filming was from December to February and the place brought on frigid temperatures and plenty of off-camera of the casts in full-length down parkas. The cast and crew were able to keep warm to complete the scenes.

The rain scenes were complicated as it was met by residents complaining about damage to their property. One resident even went as far as waving a cowbell to disturb filming. In the end, the crew agreed to move the rain scenes to another location.

This isn't the only debacle the cast and crew went through as even the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson and the author EL James were reported to have fought over the output. James wanted to keep the film adaptation as close to the book as possible. Taylor-Johnson was said to be annoyed in the script handling. A source said, "E L James wants the movie to match the book exactly, but Sam has a different perspective. Sam is reminding E L she writes books and [Sam] makes movies. This has caused some tension between the two of them," according to a report by Coming Soon.

In the book, the sultry sex scenes were too much and Taylor-Johnson would like to get a balance to maintain an R-rating.

Filming was completed on February and went on to editing but Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan went back to Vancouver to re-shoot and shoot additional scenes.

Fifty Shades of Grey is hitting theaters on February 13, 2015.
