And yes, the Frozen fever will never subside as it may seem that a feature-length film is planned for the sequel, according to Idina Menzel who voices Queen Elsa.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Menzel said: "That they're all in the works."

This is in addition to the six-minute mini film. "Not the stage show - I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride," she said.

The 43-year-old Broadway actress has said that she is still amazed to be approached by young girls who recognizes her voice, as the singer of the hit song "Let It Go" and other Frozen songs.

"I remember some of those classic Disney songs from movies, and you knew the character but you didn't know the person behind the song. But this is different, this is weird," she said.

"I can't give any tips on how to sing "Let It Go" because I barely can sing it sometimes. It's really hard. I can't wake up in the morning and just sing it."

Frozen is officially the highest grossing animated film of all time with box-office returns of more than $1.25 billion dollars worldwide.

In another news, Into the Woods star Emily Blunt is being considered to play a Princess in a nearby kingdom of Arendelle for the sequel.

She was also approached to voice Princess Anna, but she immediately said "No" as she is a good good friend of Kristen Bell and she wouldn't snatch the role from her. "No, no! That [franchise] is for my friend Kristen Bell, who just crushed it, and I am so happy for her. So no. I don't know. There's just never going to be another Elsa and Anna. There just can't."

Frozen's success has led Disney to work on a variety of different ways to extend the film into a bonafide franchise by turning it into a Broadway musical.
