The upcoming original Disney movie Bad Hair Day has released a new, full-length trailer, which you can check out above. The movie stars Laura Marano along with Leigh-Allyn Baker and Christian Campbell.

Plot: The film is about a high school tech whiz (Marano), who is determined to become prom queen. But on the big day, she suddenly wakes up having a bad hair day, and her destroyed prom dress, and everything that can go wrong, does go badly wrong. Throughout the film, there is a Federal agent (Baker), who is looking for a necklace that the teen somehow ends up possessing. Prom day goes really bad as the pair is pursued by a dogged jewel thief (Campbell) on a wild ride cross around the city.

Bad Hair Day is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel in February 2015. No official date has been released yet. The first promo aired on Disney Channel during the Season 3 finale of Austin & Ally "Relationships & Red Carpets" on November 23rd.

The 19-year-old Marano starred in Without a Trace for three seasons and also Back to You, in both roles playing the daughter of the main character. She stars in the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally as Ally Dawson. Marano will also starring as a lead role in the new film, A Sort of Homecoming

Disney Channel - which formerly operated as a premium service - originally marketed its programs towards families, and then at younger children by the late 1990s, although its viewing audience has diversified since the mid-2000s to include older teenagers and adults. Most of its original programming is aimed at children ages 6-14, while its Disney Junior programs are targeted at younger children ages 2-7.

As of August 2013, Disney Channel is available to approximately 98,142,000 pay television households (85.94% of households with at least one television set) in the United States.
