'Better Call Saul' AMC Release Date Feb 2015, New Extended Trailer Promo Teaser Unveiled Watch Here (VIDEO)

The "Breaking Bad" spinoff series "Better Call Saul" premiere on AMC is just over a month away and a new extended trailer teaser has been released. You can watch the two-minute clip above. 

The premiere date for "Better Call Saul" on AMC has been revealed as a two-night event on Feb 8th and 9th at 10pm. The season will then air on Monday nights for the rest of the season (10 episodes total). 

The hour-long premiere will follow the exploits of James McGill-who would later take the name Saul Goodman-before he teamed up with Walter White in 2002. The cast for "Better Call Saul" also includes "Breaking Bad" alum Jonathan Banks, Michael McKean, Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn, and Michael Mando.

The upcoming show is created and executive-produced by "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan and co-executive producer Peter Gould. Before the premiere of Season 1 for "Better Call Saul", the second season has already been ordered up and is set to air in 2016. 

Gilligan and Gould answered questions about the new series at the Television Critics Association's press tour. Here is what we learned about the show, Entertainment Weekly goes into greater detail:

The show will take place in Albuquerque just like "Breaking Bad". 

On Walter White (Bryan Cranston) making an appearance, Gilligan explained, "If it makes sense we'll do it, if it doesn't make sense we won't." (*Update: neither Walt (Cranston) or Jesse (Aaron Paul) will make an appearance in the first season.)

"Better Call Saul" will take place in 2002 (Gilligan: "I hesitate to say it, but it is indeed a period piece"), approximately six years prior to the beginning of 

Breaking Bad. They share that the show will have a non-linear timeline and flash both forward and back.

Bob Odenkirk will reprise his role as shady attorney Saul Goodman, though when we first meet him, he'll be known as Jimmy McGill (Better Call Jimmy doesn't rhyme though). 

Gould shared this about the possibility of Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) appearing on the show, "These are all characters we love and with Gus there is so much more to say about that character, and we certainly love Giancarlo... Although in the series it always seemed to me that Saul didn't know Gus directly. He knew a guy who knew a guy."
