"I 'm going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars. This is a special event for me," Mariah said. "And again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I'm gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album Number 1's, and this is now the updated version with 18 of them."

"It's a new chapter for me and I'm just excited about it," the singer shared. She then explained that the Vegas show was inspired by her hits compilation, #1's, which will be updated with all 18 of her chart-toppers this year.

The tickets are currently on sale now for her show which is called "Mariah Carey's #1's" at Caesars Palace.

The residency officially kicks off on Wednesday, May 6th, with shows scheduled for Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays throughout May. She will take June off and return for a run in July that starts on the 8th and wraps up on the 26th.
