'Mad Max' Release Date May 2015: Preview & Cast News, Watch Trailer Here (VIDEO)

Are you ready to witness some post-apocalyptic action in Max Mad: Fury Road? The George Miller's direction is ready for its release in May this year. The movie has been co-written by Miller, British comic creator Brendan McCarthy, and Nico Lathouris.

The movie has a huge star cast. Some of the actors include Megan Gale, Charlize Theron (Prometheous fame), Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises star), Nathan Jones, John Howard, Nicholas Hoult, Richard Carter, Zoe Kravitz, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Riley Keough, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Josh Helman, Jennifer Hagan, Courtney Eaton, Angus Sampson, Joy Smithers and Melita Jurisic.

The adventure-action film is a story of life in a dark place that has no law and order and basic humanity. People have been shown fighting with each other for basic amenities of life. Meanwhile, two rebels, Max and Furiosa try to handle things their own way by making the place hospital enough to survive.

The crew started filming the movie in 2012 in Namibia. According to the sources, Warner Bros had exclusively hired an executive to make sure that the production of the movie kept on track. Earlier, the development of the movie was kept on hold for almost twenty-five years due to financial constraints, security reasons in Namibia, and the ongoing Iraq war. The film underwent reshoots in November 2013.

The first official trailer for the fourth film in the Mad Max series was released back on 27^th July, 2014. The trailer fascinated the movie buffs with its visual depiction of desert landscape, dust storm, and the smoke bombs. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 15 this year.
