The Winds of Winter will be the sixth part in George R. R . Martin's ultimate novel series titled A Song of Ice and Fire. While fans have been restlessly waiting for news on its release date since a very long time now, Martin's distributer has said that fans will have to hold on to their hopes for some more time now as the author is yet to finish off the book.

There are absolutely no plans in Martin's head to release the much anticipated book in this year.

But everything is not dark when we talk about new Game Of Thrones stuff. Fans can look forward to "A Knight of Seven Kingdoms", a three prequel novellas, which will be release somewhere near the end of this year. Also, it will be a full illustrated version and will include The Sworn Sword, The Hedge Knight, and The Mystery Knight.

And not only this, fans can also look forward to the release of the fifth season of the TV series of this book, which will be out this April. The trailer for this season is already out, after it was released at IMAX. It looks absolutely shocking and amazing and everyone who loves this series is pretty much over excited to watch the whole season soon.

Book enthusiasts have also said that Martin is taking too much time to complete the final part of the series, and they speculate that the TV series will get over before Martin can finish the book! Well, let us hope this disaster does not happen and everything goes in sync and as per the plan!

So all book fans, try not to think about The Winds of Winter for the time being, try and focus on other GOT stuff!
