Don't get excessively excited for your favorite show Game of Thrones characters. The greatest shock at the very prestigious Writers Guild West Awards the previous evening was the presence of author George R.R. Martin. He is well known for his top rated epic fantasy books, A song of Ice and Fire, which are the master script for HBO's super hit, Game of Thrones. As he isn't seen around in Los Angeles a lot, so he was accorded the utmost fandom and respect.

Martin has cautioned the fans about the forthcoming season though. According to Martin, the directors of the TV series are more deadly than he is. He says that the directors are planning to kill of some characters in the next season, just like the book. This is shocking! We already see so much bloodshed in the show, and now this!

A Song of Ice and Fire book series author George R.R. Martin uncovered the news at the Writers Guild West Awards on Saturday, Showbiz411 reports. "Everyone should be on the edge from now on," Martin said, affirming that the creators of the HBO show, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff "have a higher violent stream than he has".

The hit show comes back with a fifth season on April 12, and the channel has officially singed on for a sixth season as well. Martin is taking a shot at the overdue book now, The Winds Of Winter, and will then complete the book with a novel titled The Dream of Spring.

Considering that those two books will count up to around 3,000 pages, it could be years before fans have a longing for wither the book or the show. There is too much on the plat right now!

Let us just hope that our favorite characters remain alive.
