Rumors are that this season's show will reveal the secret life of May, a character played by Ming-Na Wen. Fans are desperately waiting to explore the reason why she was given the name "The Cavalry" when she was in Delhi. Speculations are that May's past will be talked about the in the show this season, that will last till spring this year.

It is rumored that the famour character of Hawkeye may enter into the episode this season, that plays the role of a secret agent and his ex-wife, Mopckingbird, is there in the show too. In addition, Skye's and May's growing relationship with each other has raised hopes for the fans to see them team up with each other to fight against the evil. It is hoped that Skye's newly acclaimed powers won't become a hurdle between the two.

After Mack's presumed death, it is speculated that Fitz might decide to stay around since both the biochemist and the engineer are required in the team. Earlier Fitz claimed to get transferred so that he does not have to be around Simmons. On the other hand, Coulson might get a new mission since he clearly does not have any right now!
