Kim Kardashian Barely Recognizable in Latest Blonde Do!

The reality TV star and Armenian beauty Kim Kardashian debuted her new blonde look last Thursday at the Balmain Show of the Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France. Along with husband rapper Kanye West, the 34-year old celebrity was seen heading to the event, shocking everyone with her newly bleached tresses giving her an entire-almost unrecognizable-new look.

Aside from the power couple, 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto was also seen in the event with his chopped, sleek, white-blonde coif (the haircut was necessary for his upcoming role in Suicide Squad as the Joker). The actor was seen in a white turtleneck, velvet blazer and aviators.

Interestingly enough, the internet were filled with memes and comparisons between Kim and a handful of popular blondes, some of which was Legolas from Lord of the Rings, the character Khaleesi from Game of Thrones and even Elsa the ice queen from Frozen. It certainly is a bold move for Kim, who has been continuously attempting to fit herself in into the high fashion world as of late since marrying Kanye West. Towards the end of 2013, the reality TV star even dyed her hair light ombré, reportedly saying that she was inspired by a look on a Vogue España fashion spread. 

Of course, this was a strategic move for Kim, though admittedly she's a tad bit late to the platinum trend. "Ice blonde" models were called out by Vogue last February during the New York Fashion Week, but even so, the white-blonde look has long been around in fashion.
