‘Nashville’ Stars to Go on New Concert Tour

The stars of ABC's country music drama Nashville are set to hit the road again, making stops in eight cities.

Nashville cast members Clare Bowen (who plays Scarlett O'Connor), Chris Carmack (Will Lexington), Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne), Aubrey Peeples (Layla Grant), and Lennon & Maisy Stella (Maddie and Daphne Conrad)-will play the eight-city concert tour beginning April 29 in New York and ending May 10 in Phoenix. Sam Palladio (Gunnar Scott) will join them in the New York and Los Angeles legs of the tour while Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley) will make his appearance in Chicago.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale Friday. The dates and venues for the concerts are as follows:

  •  Wednesday, April 29: New York (Beacon Theater)
  •  Saturday, May 2: Boston (Wang Theater)
  •  Sunday, May 3: Washington, D.C. (DAR Constitution Hall)
  •  Tuesday, May 5: Chicago (Rosemont Auditorium)
  •  Wednesday, May 6: Minneapolis (Northrup Auditorium)
  •  Friday, May 8: San Francisco (Warfield Theater)
  •  Saturday, May 9: Los Angeles (Nokia Theater L.A.)
  •  Sunday, May 10: Phoenix (Comerica Theater)

The Nashville concert tour is being produced by Opry Entertainment, whose president Steve Buchanan told the press: "We were truly energized last year by the fervor and passion we experienced on the road. We have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to once again share the exceptional talents of our cast with fans from coast to coast. They are all rare individuals that excel as actors, musicians, songwriters and performers."

The ABC musical drama held its first live tour in 2014. Following its successful reception, and in light of the series' encouraging ratings, the producers decided to do an encore. Dawn Soler, senior vice president for TV music at ABC Entertainment Group told the press: "It is so exciting and rewarding to see our amazing cast blossom as live artists and be able to have that intimate relationship with our Nashville fans. Taking Nashville on the road, along with our On The Record series, offers our viewers a complete and authentic experience."
