Are ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Onscreen Couple Fooling Around Behind Nikki Reed?

News Flash! It would seem that there have been rumors floating around of The Vampire Diaries onscreen lovers Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are being up close and personal behind Somerhalder's fiancée, Nikki Reed.

According to a report by International Business Times, Dobrev was reported to have insisted her co-star Somerhalder to cancel his wedding plans with Reed because she still has feelings for him. To refresh one's memory, Somerhalder and Reed got engaged just this January after five months of dating.

So far, there has been no solid confirmation behind this claim although it would seem that the source behind this rumor stems from the rather convincing love scenes between the two with their characters, Damon and Elena, in the recent episodes of The Vampire Diaries. Many have been led to assume that because of these extra steamy scenes, including one where they were naked in each other's arms, that Dobrev's feelings for Somerhalder came back and stronger this time around. Apparently, it appalled watchers that shortly after these steamy scenes were aired Reed reportedly put hers and Somerhalder's wedding into an indefinite hold.

However, a source from Hollywood Life shares that these claims are quite false and Reed and Somerhalder are just taking their sweet time in planning their wedding. International Business Times quotes the source, "They do want an outside wedding and they want it to be very intimate. They definitely want the feel of it to be outside near where they live. They have also discussed to have it near where their animals can be part of the festivities." Hopefully things will look up for either party but one thing is for sure, there will still be a wedding whether Dobrev or Delena fans approves or not.
