Rolling Stones' Announces "Zip Code" Concert Tour Dates and Venues

Legendary rock band Rolling Stones will return to North American stadiums this summer for their 15-city "Zip Code" tour which will kick off May 24th at San Diego's Petco Park, criss-crossing the nation before ending July 15th at Quebec's Le Festival D'Été de Québec.

The Zip Code tour will take the band to 15 stadiums in 15 cities in North America. The dates and venues for the concerts are as follows:

Tickets for the dates will go on sale April 13. But those who are American Express card members can buy them before the general public, beginning April 8. 

Mick Jagger, the 71-year-old front-man of the group in a press statement said: "We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer! We are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favorite songs. People say, 'How come you're still doing this?' but I can't believe I did this when I was 20."

Keith Richards, the band's 71-year-old guitarist who served as inspiration for Johnny Depp's portrayal of his Pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow character, added: "We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America! I can't wait to get back on the stage!"

This summer's "Zip Code" trek marks the first time Rolling Stones has played North American stadiums since their 2005-2007's "Bigger Bang Tour."

While details on production have not been announced, the band's press release does say that "the stage design for the stadium shows includes a thrust that extends deep into the audience allowing the Stones to interact directly with their fans."

Two days after the launch, the group will unveil a reissue of one of its all-time classic albums, 1971's Sticky Fingers. Deluxe editions will include a "generous selection" of previously unreleased studio outtakes from the album's sprawling sessions, which spanned from 1968 through 1970, as well as live material from the era.
