'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Will Sam Kill Dean?

The latest news in Supernatural brings the Winchester boys to familiar waters once again - one of them killing the other off. In this case this time around, it is Dean who might kill Sam off just like how Cain killed off his brother Abel.

In the upcoming episode 18 entitled "Book of the Damned", Venture Capital reports that the boys will be getting a call from Charlie, played by Felicia Day, about the whereabouts of the Book of the Dead. As fans would know the book itself may be of help when it comes to removing the Mark of Cain in Dean, played by Jensen Ackles. However, the boys will have to race to her after they find out that she's been shot by a man named Jacob Styne, who will be portrayed by guest star Jeff Branson. Styne claims that the Book of the Dead belonged to his family and he will not be put to rest until it is returned. Meanwhile Castiel, who is played by Misha Collins, and Metatron, played by Curtis Armstrong, are on a trip to get Castiel's grace back but things have not been so easy for them.

According the Jared Padalecki, who portrays Sam Winchester, during an interview at Seattle's Salute, fans will have to brace themselves as the subsequent episodes of the season may prove to be very traumatic for them. Apparently, he's not too far off as Dean gets worse every episode and time is running out for Castiel and Sam. International Business Times quotes the actor, "We are filming the final arc of season 10 right now and it's one of those really intense final arcs, I mean it's probably the most intense I can remember since like season five or something like that." He further adds a few things that will change in the brothers as the season progresses. "Sam does have a lot of darkness in him, so does Dean. I think it's one of the themes that, as long as Supernatural is alive, that theme is going to be around. Both of these guys are struggling with their demons, struggling with their past. I think we will see Sam get dark. I know we do a little bit this season that you haven't seen yet. So I think you'll see it from Sam and Dean both."

From its week long hiatus, Supernatural season 10 episode 18 will air on April 15.
