Things are beginning to spiral out of control, no thanks to familial ties, for Scandal season 4's Olivia Pope played by Kerry Washington and Rowan Pope who is portrayed by Joe Morton returns to Washington in the upcoming episode.

The upcoming episode's promo spoils viewers that if ever Olivia does bring him down, it will be at the cost of the love of her life, President Fitzgerald Grant played by Tony Goldwyn. Rowan even asks his daughter in the clip, "Is your hatred for me so great you are willing to tear him down to?" Fashion & Style quotes. Looks like things are spiraling out of control for Olivia. Will she be able to handle pressure brought on by a family member? Will her love for President Grant eventually see through this brand new ordeal?

In another angle of the series, it would seem that Mellie Grant's future intentions of running for president might go up in flames after all, thanks to her half-sister, Harmony, played by Lauren Bowles. Bellamy Young, who plays Mellie, teases fans that blood will be shed in the upcoming Scandal episode. Apparently, Mellie's campaign manager, Elizabeth who is played by Portia de Rossi brings Harmony to Washington but Mellie is worried that Harmony might ruin her chances as Harmony might spill the sensitive information about Mellie's past to the public. How will the first lady handle the pressure?

Breathecast reports that this will be the third time for Laura Bowles to guest star in a show produced by Shonda Rhimes. She had previously guest starred in Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
