Nicki Minaj, Farrah Abraham In a Heated Twitter War: 'Teen Mom OG' Star Calls Rapper 'Disgusting'

Nicki Minaj and Farrah Abraham are now engaged in a huge Twitter war that started on Sunday. It started with Minaj criticising Abraham's treatment of her mother on national TV, and then the whole thing escalated leading to Abraham calling Minaj "disgusting."

The whole thing started when the former "American Idol" judge took to Twitter to share her distaste of how rude the "Teen Mom" star was to her own mom. Although the tweet did not say anything about Minaj having caught "Teen Mom OG's" Monday premiere episode, Minaj could be alluding to this episode. The episode featured Abraham being rude to her mom up to the extent that her own daughter called her out on it. Minaj tweeted:

After Minaj's follower supported her tweet by joking that Abraham's 6-year-old daughter herself cannot stand how her grandma was being mistreated by her own mom, the rapper tweeted another insult against the reality star.

At this point, Abraham already decided to respond and hit back. She dissed Minaj's authority and credibility to tweet those things against her when she herself is not even a mom yet. She also criticised the rapper's music videos, which she described as "akin to being porn."

Minaj did not back down and took another shot at the star, to which Abraham replied again. "Your mother didn't open her legs and have that child," Minaj wrote. "Be happy she's helping! Stop talking to her like that on tv u lil c--t @F1abraham." She followed this up by another insult, writing, "In your case #BIGC--T."

In response, Abraham went to both Twitter and Instagram to defend herself and call out Minaj's hateful tweets. "Some people should just shut up," Abraham captioned an Instagram shot of Minaj's tweets. "Like they see all the footage--like their parents--Like I care about their negativity #godbless busy making tv."

Abraham retweeted one of Minaj's tweets and then said her mom is not the one helping her. Instead, it is the other way around--she's the one helping her mom because she loves and cares for her. She then asked Minaj to stop the "disgusting talk."

On her part, Minaj never hid the fact that she is very close to her own mom and is following through with her pieces of advice, especially about getting married first before having a baby. On her interview with Complex back in 2014, she shared that her mom taught her this virtue. Even though she is currently seeing fellow rapper Meek Mill and already received a diamond ring from him, she clarified with Billboard that she and Meek are still not engaged.
