A Spice Girls reunion tour is set to happen in the near future. Even without a confirmed date, one of the girl band's members, Geri Halliwell, said the reunion is definitely going to happen, even without Victoria Beckham.

This year marks the famous girl group's 20th anniversary ever since its breakthrough single "Wannabe" has been released in July of 1996. It seems to be the right time for a reunion tour. However, Beckham, or better known as "Posh Spice," seems not able to see herself doing anything Spice-Girls-related anymore.

Halliwell, aka "Ginger Spice," said that the four of them doing a reunion tour is not a problem, and they will announce the details when there is already something "definite or concrete," NME reports. Spice Girls fans everywhere can rejoice now.

Beckham's representative released a statement to TMZ as to why the fashion mogul and mother of four refused to participate in the highly anticipated reunion tour. "[Beckham] has been very respectful about the fabulous time they had together in the past. However, her focus is now very much her family and fashion business," her representative said.

Recently, the dedicated mother posted a picture of her four-year-old daughter's hand with an "Excellent Reading" sticker. In her caption, she expressed how proud she was of her daughter for her achievement.

Beckham is particularly proud probably because Harper is living up to her name, which was derived from one of Beckham's favourite authors, Harper Lee, who penned "To Kill a Mockingbird." Back in 2011, her husband, David Beckman, shared a video on his Facebook page explaining the backstory of their daughter's name, as reported by Celebrity Babies of People Magazine.

"One reason is Harper's an old English name which we loved and one of the other reasons was Victoria's favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird and the author was Harper Lee. It's a very strong, passionate book. That's where Harper came from," he said.
