Rumors of a Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce have been making its rounds on the Internet for a long time, but it was only last year that the whispers and speculations became a fact. Unfortunately, Tinseltown's power couple, Brangelina, have finally reached the final straw and it's getting uglier by the minute.

Speculation about a possible Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce started running rampant following InTouch Weekly’s July 2015 issue (via Hollywood Life). The report claimed that trouble started brewing after the couple wed in August 2014. The publication noted that Brad Pitt was “beyond miserable” and has told Angelina Jolie that they're over. But now it seems that the tables have turned as it was the "Maleficent" star who ended their marriage.

Angelina Jolie shocked the whole world when she filed for divorce on September 19, 2016. After the child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt was revealed, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie agreed to a temporary custody deal.

Although the 41-year-old actress, filmmaker and humanitarian had always kept things private regarding her failed marriage, there are times that she was left with no choice but to address the matter publicly. "I don't want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and... and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it," Angelina Jolie said, as reported by People.

While her tearful interview in Cambodia moved a lot of people, Hollywood Life reported that Brad Pitt was actually disappointed by it and took it as Angelina Jolie trying to victimize herself. The site noted that all the 53-year-old actor and producer wants right now is to finalize their divorce and to be allowed to visit their kids.
