Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were once Hollywood's power teen couple after turning their "High School Musical" on-screen romance to real-life. Unfortunately, their boyfriend-girlfriend relationship did not last like everyone hoped for. But is the "Baywatch" actor hoping to rekindle his romance with Austin Butler's girlfriend?

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens crushed everyone's teenage dreams when they decided to end their relationship in 2010. Despite their failed romance, fans have never lost their love for the "High School Musical" duo and have always hoped for them to get back together.

Unfortunately to the Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens shippers, the 28-year-old actress and singer has already found herself a main squeeze. The "Baywatch" actor, on the other hand, just recently ended his two-year relationship with model Sami Miro. Korea Portal suggested that Zac Efron may not be totally over Vanessa Hudgens yet. The site noted that the 29-year-old actor and singer may still be hoping for another chance with his ex-girlfriend after his romance with Sami Miro came to a screeching halt. 

Although Zac Efron wanting back Vanessa Hudgens is quite impossible since he's not that kind of guy who would steal someone else's girlfriend, one thing is for sure, he is very much back on the market. An insider revealed the reason why things didn't work out for the actor and Sami Miro: "It wasn't an easy breakup," a source told E! News at the time. "Distance and work schedules got in the way with their relationship and Zac wanted to focus on his career."

Meanwhile, the existence of a "High School Musical 4" is giving fans more reasons to ship the former lovebirds. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are expected to be a part of Disney's fourth installment of the romantic comedy musical television film. With the duo being on-screen once again, their tandem will bring back so many memories to the fans and especially to Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
