"Dragon Ball" creator Akira Toriyama revealed that he didn't intend to make Goku the main hero of "DBZ." Instead, he preferred to give the leading role to Gohan. Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 83 spoilers suggest that Goku and Vegeta might face a conflict because of the "Tournament of Power."

An interview with Toriyama was translated by Kanzenshuu where it was revealed that the "Dragon Ball" creator wanted to put Gohan in the leading role of "DBZ." However, he said that it didn't work out because Gohan's skills were not fit for the part. That is if his powers were to be compared to Goku at that time.

Meanwhile, Toriyama also spilled who among the "Dragon Ball" characters he likes and dislikes. He revealed that he likes Piccolo the way he likes Goku. But he can't say the same about Vegeta because the prince of the fallen Saiyan race is the one he doesn't like that much.

Speaking of Vegeta, fans may see him in a heated argument with Goku on "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 83 according to a report by Comicbook. Apparently, the soon-to-be-father to his daughter with Bulma will refuse to join the "Tournament of Power." This will seemingly create a conflict between the two "Dragon Ball" heroes.

But why will Vegeta turn his back on his friends now? The synopsis of "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 83 hints that the reason behind is Bulma's condition. She is now ready to give birth anytime soon, so naturally, Vegeta cannot keep his calm.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 83 spoilers claim that the "Tournament of Power" is something Goku is worried about. For this reason, he really needs strong "Dragon Ball" fighters to join his team to enter the battle. Could Goku and the rest of his team convince Vegeta to join the tournament? That's what fans need to find out on the 83rd episode of "DBS."
