There have been information about the Japanese superhero parody webcomic "One Punch Man" Season 2 making rounds on the internet including a confirmation that the anime's production is already in progress. There were also more details of its characters that have been revealed, which will be part of the storyline.

According to Comic Book, "One-Punch Man" Season 2 is expected to make a comeback this year with its episodes already in production although the showrunners have been tight-lipped on the details of the upcoming season. Spoilers also reveal that Saitama will be going head-to-head with additional enemies and one of them would be Garou, one of Bang's former students, which means that this will be an action-packed season.

While it's not out of the ordinary seeing Saitama with more fight scenes, fans are hoping that his origins and his powers will all be showcased in "One-Punch Man" Season 2 as fans don't actually know how he acquired his powers. Spoilers say that his back story will be revealed in the storyline although the creators have yet to confirm this as well as the romantic side of the story that he will finally have a love interest through a new character that will be introduced in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Garou might also become a major villain in the upcoming "One-Punch Man" Season 2 and is reportedly to team up with the Monster Association, which will feature more monsters with different skills and abilities that could be more powerful than Saitama. Furthermore, according to Manga Stream, chapter 70 of the hit manga series features Saitama and Suiryu's battle, which appears to be complicated since the anime version sees Saitama being busy with the tournament while the other heroes are facing off with the Monsters Association invading the city.

Moreover, Lord Boros, the main villain in Season 1 is also said to make an appearance in the upcoming "One-Punch Man" Season 2 although during the first season's finale shows that he has been defeated by Saitama. Either way, fans can only speculate for now until the next season is released.
