Emily Blunt and Husband John Krasinski Will Work Together in New Thriller 'A Quiet Place'

The British-American actress Emily Blunt will play in the supernatural thriller "A Quiet Place" that will be directed by her husband John Krasinski. This project will be their first time to work together since they got married in 2010.

Krasinski writes, directs and stars the movie "A Quiet Place" as reported by Variety. This will be his first directorial debut for a major studio after directing two independent films " Brief Interviews with Hideous Men" in 2009 and "The Hollars" last year.

The 37-year-old actor will play with his wife Blunt in the Paramount Pictures production. Michael Bay and his production company Platinum Dunes will be the producer of "A Quiet Place" along with his two partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.

"A Quiet Place" is a supernatural thriller, which was initially to be written by Scott Beck and directed by Bryan Woods. However, after a while, Paramount Pictures decided to sign the contract with Krasinski to rewrite and direct the movie.

There is no official plot or synopsis of the movie "A Quiet Place" from either Paramount Pictures of Platinum Dunes. However, as the filming will start this fall, Krasinski looks forward to beginning the project with his beloved wife as he told TIME.

"We’ve always talked about doing a movie or a play together," Krasinski said in an interview regarding his intention to work together with his wife. "We just don’t want the idea of us being married to supersede the movie."

Prior to this project, both Krasinski and Blunt have played together in the animated feature film "Animal Crackers" which will be released in September. "A Quiet Place" will be their first time to work together after seven years of marriage.
