Jake Gyllenhaal Slams Reporter Over Taylor Swift Questions

Jake Gyllenhaal is the sweetest thing a girl could ever have, thus fans swarm all over him. If one wants to see his dark side, though, just do what this reporter did: ask about his past with Taylor Swift. That's what Tim Jonze of the Guardian discovered when his persistence turned his interview with Gyllenhaal sour, per Us Weekly.

The 36-year-old actor explained to Jonze that he's a very private person. He considers intimacy to be very important and thus refuses to divulge any personal information about his family or love life. In his own terms, he's an 'old school'. When Jake Gyllenhaal thought the reporter finally got the message and would push through with other questions, he only got disappointed.

Jonze persisted and expected the Life actor to give him answers upfront. When you're interviewing Jake Gyllenhaal, one should know better than to tick him off. He started answering then trailed off. The actor then stared at him and shrugged. Asking about which Taylor Swift songs he thought could be about him only made matters worse. Defending his line of questioning though since these things have been out in the public for the longest time was his worst move.

Jake Gyllenhaal just wanted to talk about his sci-fi horror movie, Life which he co-stars with Ryan Reynolds. He kept alluding the Bad Blood singer questions, exactly what Tom Hiddleston did in one of his interviews as well. Per E! News, John Hiscock of The Telegraph claimed Hiddleston didn't take it well when asked about Taytay questions. He doesn't regret being with Swift, but he doesn't want to talk about it as well. After all, he was there to promote Kong: Skull Island, not his Taylor Swift romance.
