Latest updates on Eminem's new album reveal that the "Lose Yourself" rapper is currently working on the singles included in his upcoming record. Many fans have been excitedly anticipating the 44-year-old rapper's return since he released "The Marshall Mathers" album in 2014.

While Eminem has been collaborating with different singers through the years, fans could not help but wonder when will he drop another record. A recent interview with Stat Quo confirmed that Eminem has something up his sleeve, reports HipHopDX.

Eminem will also be headlining the Glasgow Summer Sessions in August, which many believe is a definite sign that the rapper will be releasing a new album this 2017. According to Billboard, this will be Eminem's second time to headline the event with his first headlining stint in 2013.

Meanwhile, a recent interview with Sir Elton John revealed the singer's opinion about the controversy surrounding his duet with Eminem to the song "Stan." Sir Elton John told ET Canada that he has no idea how people came to the conclusion that Eminem was a homophobic based on the lyrics of his song.

"For me Eminem was never homophobic," said John. "He's just writing about the way things are."

John shared that he listened to Eminem's last album while he was on his way to a show in South Hampton. The singer explained that he was "floored" by Eminem's singles and did not think of the rapper as a homophobic in any way.
