These days, simply putting out a boring old resume with a cover letter won't cut it. If one wants to get noticed, he must be prepared to keep his creative juices flowing. Just like what an aspiring intern did to catch Jimmy Fallon's attention. He rapped his way through and when his video went viral, Fallon himself announced he was hired!

His name was Jake Sirianni, an undergrad of the Washington State University who wanted so badly to land an internship at "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". He knew there was no way he stood a chance with thousands of other applicants if he took the conventional route per People.

He finally got some inspiration from a guest appearance of Daniel Radcliffe rapping in the show. And that's how it all started. After over a week of composing the lyrics, hours spent shooting and editing the video, he crossed his fingers and posted it online. He took a big risk and it paid off. Luckily, Jimmy Fallon's team was watching, and boy did they like what they saw!

A Dream Come True

Fallon explained that Sirianni took footage from the show during Radcliffe's guest appearance per AoL. He took Daniel out, took his place, then changed the lyrics defending his right to be chosen as the great intern. Moments later, Jimmy Fallon announced himself that if he's watching, and he'd better be, the answer was a big yes. He then asked Sirianni to pack his bags because he can't wait to work with him this summer!

It turns out Sirianni got his inspiration from another intern who got hired when he impressed Fallon and his team with remaking the show's opening. Dreams really do come true, but only if you work hard and be willing to rap your way through! For more Jimmy Fallon news and latest updates, keep it here on Celebeat.
