"Grace and Frankie" stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda are currently doing press rounds for their show's latest season. The 13-episode season became available on Netflix last Friday.

The stars of the series, which began airing in May 2015, appeared on ABC's "The View" to talk about the newest season. During the program, the duo revealed that they are hoping their former "9 to 5" co-star Dolly Parton will make a guest appearance on "Grace and Frankie" as the series goes on. Parton herself expressed interest in appearing alongside her co-stars and longtime friends of the 1980's film classic.

"I told them whenever I get a little block of time, I'd love to come be on the show," Parton said about reuniting with "Grace and Frankie" stars Fonda and Tomlin. "We always talked about a ('9 to 5') reunion." Tomlin herself says they have been hoping and praying that a reunion of the co-stars will still happen.

And their request has certainly not fallen on deaf ears, as the bosses behind the online streaming services are up for Parton to guest on "Grace and Frankie." "Jane and I are really plugging for it and we've finally convinced the management at Netflix," Tomlin said, according to World Entertainment News Network. "They're (Netflix management) very excited; they're very turned on to it."

Both Fonda and Tomlin are currently busy promoting the third season of "Grace and Frankie." On Monday, the two were seen arriving in style in New York City for a chat show appearance. They both appeared on "The Late Show" with Stephen Colbert, which has yet to get an air date. Fonda and Tomlin play women who were left by their husbands for each other, according to the Daily Mail.

Grace Hanson (Fonda) and Frances "Frankie" Bergstein detested each other at first, but find themselves being forced to live together and start to face the next chapter in their lives. "Grace and Frankie" also stars Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen and Brooklyn Decker and is available on Netflix.
