Michelle Pfeiffer has become a household name and even worked with some of the Hollywood greats such as Robert De Niro in "The Family" back in 2013 and Robert Redford "Up Close and Personal" in 1996. Then, four years ago, people didn't hear from her anymore. As if the actress just up and left.

In the April issue of Interview, Michelle Pfeiffer explained her side of the story. She said she never lost her love for acting as she's always felt at home when filming on set. But then she was also very careful about the film's location, how long she was gone, and if it fit into her kid's schedule. There came a time she became so picky she became unhirable. Then time simply flew, per E! News.

Back With a Vengeance. Now, Michelle Pfeiffer is back with three movies in post-production. Now she says she's more open because she wants to work. Because now she can do just that. However, the actress admits she enjoyed not having to do interviews, which she hated. When asked why she hated interviews, she said she's afraid of being found out. She has a constant fear that people are going to find out she was a fraud. She didn't have any formal training. She didn't go to Juilliard. She adapted the mentality 'learn as you go'. So she was really scared people were going to find out she didn't know what she was doing, per Vanity Fair.

From Orange County to Hollywood. Michelle Pfeiffer knew deep inside she wanted to become an actress when she was a child. She just didn't know how this would happen. She was from Orange County, Southern California. She rarely went to movies. Her mom didn't drive and her dad couldn't be bothered. Thus, she was basically a home buddy. But she remembered staying up late at night to watch old films on TV. She remembers watching what the actors were doing and saying and she told herself, 'I can do that'.

Now Michelle Pfeiffer fans can look forward to seeing her in HBO's "The Wizard of Lies". There's also "Mother!" which she co-stars with Jennifer Lawrence. And finally, there's "Murder on the Orient Express" co-starring Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp.
