The former teen-pop sensation Britney Spears, 35, has announced a new tour, and luckily, one of her destinations can be the UK!

In the announcement on big news on Twitter, Spears revealed that she'll be playing shows in Israel and the Philippines this summer, and interestingly, this new tour might lead her to our shores for her first show since her Apple Music Festival appearance last year.

"Excited to be performing abroad this summer!" Spears tweeted for her new tour. "More details available at britneyspears.com."

However, as of now, the only confirmed dates are her stops in Asia in June and July. But, interestingly, Spears' tweet was retweeted by her UK publicity team Edge Publicity, suggesting that her world tour might include a stop for British Britney Army.

Earlier in the day, The Inquisitr had revealed all the details of Spears' new tour claiming that all the signs are suggesting multiple international dates to be announced soon, which will then mark her first tour since she hit the road for the "Female Fatale Tour" in 2011.

"Not only Britney is going to Asia, but she's also negotiating some touring in Europe and South America between July and October," The Inquisitr reported. In a report by Breathe Heavy, the site quoted multiple people connected to the pop star as saying that the international tour is "indeed in the works."

The report further added that Spears team is currently working out the logistics when it comes to how they can transport her Las Vegas set, which usually stays stationary at The Axis Theatre at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

A report in Jerusalem Online claimed to note that Spears currently does not have any Las Vegas residency dates scheduled through the summer. Notably, Britney Spears is supposed to wrap up the latest leg of her "Piece of Me" Las Vegas residency show on May 20 and does not have any further shows scheduled as part of her residency until August 9.

Interestingly, Spears hasn't performed outside the U.S. much since she embarked on her residency in Las Vegas back in 2013 as she only briefly attended Apple Music Festival in London in September 2016, an appearance which brought Britney Spears high praise.

However, Spears hasn't yet officially commented on the rumors, but last year she had hinted that she was looking to get back on the road and tour again after past 4 years of performances in Las Vegas.

"I hope we can do some touring," Britney told Las Vegas Sun last year when asked about a possible tour. "It'll be fun to see my fans from overseas who haven't been able to make it out to Las Vegas."
