Brad Pitt Flies to Cambodia to Meet the Kids and Angelina Jolie in A Secret Family Reunion

Brad Pitt s reported to secretly meet his ex-wife in Cambodia to see his children for the secret family reunion. His act raised the speculation whether the two former power Hollywood couple will get back together.

According to E! News, a source revealed that Pitt secretly flew to Cambodia last February to meet the children and his ex-wife. At that time, Jolie and her children were filming documentary about Cambodian civil war titled "First They Killed My Father." Her ex-husband did not come to play in the movie but to reunite as a family.

In an interview with the ABC's "Good Morning America" in February when she was in Cambodia filming "First They Killed My Father," host George Stephanopoulos asked her whether she still considered that Pitt is a good father. Jolie replied saying she still considered Pitt as a good father for their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 years old. She later added that they would always be a family.

Her response at that time raised people's eyebrows. Furthermore, the insider information regarding his trip to Cambodia when his ex-wife was filming "First They Killed My Father" sparked a speculation of their reconciliation The source also revealed that sometimes the kids went to Los Angeles to met Pitt as reported by Daily Mail

Jolie was in Cambodia to film the memoir of her best friend Loung Ung during her time in Cambodia. Ung is a Cambodian-American who managed to escape the brutal Khmer Rouge regime under Pol Pot during her childhood in the early 1970's. She escaped from Cambodia in 1980 and lived in the United States. She wrote her memoir "First They Killed My Father" in 2000, and together with Jolie, they converted the book into the movie script.
