"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 continues to be one of the most watched shows on ABC despite the fact that the Shonda Rhimes drama has seen several cast members come and go. While Sara Ramirez's exit surprised viewers, it turns out there is still a chance for her character, Callie, to return to the series.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 spoilers are noting on the possible return of Sara Ramirez as Callie despite the actress' sudden departure from the ABC series last April. In a recent interview with TVLine, Jessica Capshaw shared that the show is not closing its doors to the possibility that Callie will return in the upcoming episodes.

"There's a great chance that she would come back for something," said Capshaw.

This comes in despite the fact that Ramirez recently called out the network for seemingly airing a biphobic episode on "The Real O'Neals." There were also mixed reactions among viewers following Capshaw's comments on Ramirez's return on "Grey's Anatomy."

Some viewers were thrilled to hear the possibility of a Callie return on "Grey's Anatomy" while others believed that it was time for her character to go. Even series creator Shonda Rhimes explained in an earlier interview with E! News that she was surprised when Ramirez hinted about her departure on Twitter before she officially left the ABC drama.

Rhimes said that it was a good thing that "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 ended with Ramirez leaving for New York, as they did not have any exit plan for the character that time. This also meant that the character still had a chance to return to the series since Ramirez only told Rhimes that she wanted to go on a break.
