"Gossip Girl" star Michelle Trachtenberg became popular on TV for her role as Georgina Sparks. But after appearing as the annoying and sometimes too friendly character in the hit teen CW series, the actress seemingly took a break from the TV limelight. Where's Trachtenberg now?

Georgina's alter ego has not engaged in a regular role for any TV series in the past years following "Gossip Girl." Thanks to Bustle for revealing some cool updates about the star's whereabouts. Apparently, the only regular contract that Trachtenberg had after "GG" was for a web series called "Guidance" that aired in 2015.

On "Guidance," the actress portrayed a character, Ana, who's very different from Georgina. She's a guidance counselor involved in an investigation to track the culprit behind the scandalous photos of famous school girls that have spread across social media platforms. Unlike Georgina who always starts scandals on "Gossip Girl," Ana is someone one who aims to stop them.

Apart from her regular part on "Guidance," Trachtenberg also took some guesting on several TV series such as "Criminal Minds," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Sleepy Hollow" and "SuperMansion." As mentioned above, she only appeared as a guest star and has not acquired a recurring or regular spot in any of the aforementioned TV shows like what she did on "Gossip Girl."

Speaking of "Gossip Girl," another star who gained popularity from the teen drama has made the headlines in the past weeks. Ed Westwick who gave life to the character of the handsome and manipulative Chuck Bass is now in a Crackle series called "Snatch," ETOnline reported. Fans of Westwick will still see him as someone with lots of cash on "Snatch" but this time, he got the money from being a ruthless Cuban gangster not from being a Bass.

"Snatch" premiered on Mar. 16 and viewers can catch their favorite "Gossip Girl" actor Westwick on Crackle. For more updates about celebrities, TV dramas and movies, keep visiting Celebeat!
