"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 renewal appears to be uncertain, as Fox has not yet issued an official renewal order for the series. As TVLine reports, series co-creator Dan Goor explained that fans would definitely "going to riot" should the network decide to cancel the series.

Goor, however, said that he was joking, but added that he would be "very upset" if "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 gets cancelled. Goor explained that the Season 4 finale was not shaped to be the series finale and they did not want the show to end so soon.

The co-creator was optimistic that "B99" Season 4 will be renewed for another season on Fox, as the network reportedly has given its full support for the show. Meanwhile, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 will be premiering in a week and fans could not help but wonder whether Gina is alive or not, states Entertainment Weekly.

As most fans can recall, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4's fall finale left fans with a cliffhanger, as Gina gets hit by a bus after receiving a text message from Charles. Goor told the publication that this foreshadowed an earlier statement from Gina about her preferring to get hit than receive another text from Charles.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 midseason premiere, therefore, will reveal whether Gina's truly gone from the show or not. As Goor teases, there are a lot of ways in which Gina may have survived the accident, but there are also reasons she may end up dead.
