'Rick & Morty' Season 3 Debuts on AdultSwim Website; A Pleasant Surprise for Fans on April Fool's Day

One of the most favorite American adult animated series surprised its fans by airing its new season's premiere on AdultSwim website on April Fool's day. "Rick & Morty" Season 3 is scheduled to air this summer and the premiere has given its fans a good treat.

Fans are surprised as the premiere of "Rick & Morty" Season 3 was aired on AdultSwim website of April 1. At first, it was considered as an April Fool's day joke, but the full episode was aired and puzzled the audience. According to Comic Book, the decision to air the season premiere on the website has denied all logic.

The season's premiere gives its fans some of the answers to the cliffhanger ending of its Season 2. "Rick & Morty" Season 3 premiere was also aired on AdultSwim/Cartoon Network TV channel as reported by Ars Technica. However, for those unfamiliar with the series will get confused with the story. Therefore it is advised for those who missed the first two seasons to watch them in order to understand the storyline, which is available on Netflix and Hulu.

The series follows the story of Rick Sanchez a genius and mad scientist and his family, consist of his daughter Beth and her husband Jerry. He has two grandchildren Morty and Summer. Rick is a genius, yet he has a very immature personality, which makes his daughter and son-in-law become very concerned. Moreover, Rick has invented a device that allows people to travel to the alternate universe, and he often takes his 14-year-old grandson Morty to travel there. "Rick & Morty" Season 3 shows the new universe that Rick come to visit.
