The 2017 version of "The Mummy" starring Tom Cruise raised the expectation bars of the fans with the release of its latest trailer. Stephen Sommer's 1999 film featured the heroes fighting against the army led by Princess Ahmanet. In the latest released trailer of the reboot movie, the death of the princess is very well evident.

Alex Kurtzman's "The Mummy" is his first Universal Pictures venture with a deadly combination of horror and action. According to the Comic Book, Tom Cruise's character Nick Morton attains some power from the mummy in the movie. In a plane crash, Nick Morton loses his life and the mummy brings him back to life. From that point, the life of Nick Morton does the complete life transformation.

In an interview with /Film, Alex Kurtzman has confessed that Tom Cruise portrays an entirely different character in "The Mummy" in his whole film career. "Oh my god, I've never heard Tom scream in fear before. That's exactly it. That's exactly it. He's never been in that position before," says Alex Kurtzman.

In the trailer of the movie "The Mummy", a bomb attack leads Tom Cruise's character Nick Morton to fall into a massive sinkhole. The incident revives the soul of the evil Egyptian Princess Ahmanet. The princess chooses Nick to bring her back to the world as per Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Nick survives a plane crash which makes him realize to be a part of Ahmanet's return. Even he is attacked by a horde of rats. After such tensed sequences the trailer of the movie "The Mummy" showcases several action scenes with the mummy's attack in London.

Russell Crowe, Dr. Henry Jekyll of the movie in an interview commented that the new version of "The Mummy" is entirely different from its previous ones. This version is all stuffed with everything that might kill the audience with fear. Soufia Boutella will be portraying the Princess Ahmanet. The movie is all set to release on June 9, 2017.
