‘The Winds of Winter’ Release Date, News & Update: 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Will Come Out Before The Novel?

"The Winds of Winter" is a highly anticipated book and it has time and again been delayed many times, and avid readers could not wait to lay hand on it. On an edgy side, there are reports that this George RR Martin novel will be the last of the novel series of the book "A Song of Ice and Fire".

Fansided published that George RR Martin has publicly announced that "The Winds of Winter" will have another delay. He said that this will come out at a later time than the expected date.

According to the celebrated writer, the book still requires enough time to plot a good finale. Another factor he considered for the delay is his growing age. Writing time is never the same when he was younger as he gets tired easily with his age. Fans for sure will be patient. Eventually, the longer it takes, the more it will be thought of to get a better ending.

In an interview, George RR Martin said, "So much to do. And the days go by so quickly. I love my work, all my work, all my projects, all my children, but sometimes it seems as if the harder I work, the further behind I get." He further added, "The Winds of Winter" book. "Maybe things will calm down soon. But I am not holding my breath," the New Mexican writer went on.

On some theories, it is said that the revered author is having a serious time getting a finish for the finishing "The Winds of Winter" book since it will be the final plot for the "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga, as per Poor Primadonna. Published on Korea Portal, there is an assumption that "Game of Thrones" Season 8 will be released first even before the release of the book.

Bottom line, George RR Martin does not have his official statement regarding the exact date for the release. "The Winds of Winter" is a much-anticipated novel and every spectator should wait till then.
