Last Sunday, April 9, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall marked their 12th wedding anniversary and the most important question is regarding her chance to become Queen, rather than Princess Consort. The question remain unanswered

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were married on April 9, 2005, at The Guildhall Windsor. This year marked their 12th wedding anniversary, and question about her future looms as Prince Charles will become the King of England upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

However, a professor of the constitution at the University of Hull, Lord Norton of Louth told Sky News that the constitutional position of Prince of Wales and his wife Duchess of Cornwall is clear. He said that upon the death of the Queen, Prince Charles automatically becomes King of England as the first in line. Furthermore, the constitutional expert and member of the House of Lords explained that the King's wife will become Queen Consort, formally established by precedent.

However, he added that Duchess of Cornwall will have other option, which depends on her wishes and Prince Charles decision. Lord Norton said that her title is a matter of royal prerogative, which is to be decided later.

The debate has begun since the Prince of Wales married her in 2005. Many argued that she would be given a lesser title as Princess Consort instead of Queen Consort when Charles become king. Nevertheless, Prince Charles himself has a different idea, as he wants his wife to become queen.

An author who wrote the biography of Prince Charles, Sally Bedell Smith also convinced that she will become queen. In an interview with People, she said that Duchess of Cornwall will surely become queen. One of the main reason is because most of the constitutional experts agree that she is entitled to be Queen, according to common law and tradition. They are also known as the most fun royal couple, as the report from People below:
