‘Yuri!!! On Ice’ New Visual for the Big Event Revealed; A Bonus Exhibition Video Included in the Anime's Blu-Ray Disc/DVD Volume

The release date for the second season of the Japanese sports anime series "Yuri!!! On Ice" remains unknown and creator Mitsuro Kubo is still tight-lipped about it. However, fans are actually not heartbroken as it has been confirmed that a new visual for the anime's event this month has been released. There will be a bonus exhibition video as well for the anime in May.

According to CrunchyRoll, the "Yuri!!! On Ice" event will take place on April 29 reuniting the cast of the anime series at Chiba's Maihama Amphitheater. Fans of the figure-skating anime series will receive goodies like Makkachin fluffy hoodie jackets, Blu-ray/DVD volumes of the series, pamphlets, Makkachin-shaped plate light stick and a lot more. Recently, the popular anime series reportedly held a fans day that surprised everyone and many cosplayers joined the event.

Additionally, Anime News Network reports that the sixth and final Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume of the sports anime series will feature a brand new exhibition video called Yuri Plisetsky GPF in Barcelona EX Welcome to The Madness. The package will be available on May 26, which features the soundtrack from the album Oh!Suketora!!! "Yuri!!! On Ice" Original Skate Song Collection. The exhibition video is a bonus for fans who had purchased all of the anime's home video volumes.

Moreover, "Yuri!!! On Ice" coloring book and exclusive booklet will also be included in the final home video. Stéphane Lambiel's dialogue during the recording session will be part of the bonus extras alongside Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Kouki Uchiyama and Kubo's audio commentaries for the finale. Also included as a bonus would be choreographer Kenji Miyamoto' figure-skating choreography video and episode 11's animation video opening. Tadashi Hiramatsu, the character designed also outlined the jacket art.

Mitsuro Kubo's "Yuri!!! On Ice" has drawn a lot of interest from audiences with its unique storyline introducing them to the figure-skating world. Fans have been waiting for the release of season 2 and one of its creative team members previously revealed that its release date is just around the corner. Nonetheless, fans are hoping that they get to see Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Katsukiv once again before the year ends.
