People are still hoping to see Travis Fimmel return in "Vikings" Season 5 despite the fact that Ragnar Lothbrok has already died in the History series. There are no updates yet on whether Fimmel will reprise his role as the former King of Kattegat. However, that doesn't mean that the "Warcraft" actor will be unemployed for the rest of the year. Fimmel has just been spotted in New York City, where he is reportedly filming a new romantic comedy with "Girls" star Lena Dunham.

Travis Fimmel certainly has plenty of projects to work on in the future. CeleBeat has previously reported on the "Vikings" Season 5 alum working on a TV series that will explore the life of Wyatt Earp. However, the still-untitled show has not yet started production. In the meantime, it looks like Fimmel will be shooting a new film with Lena Dunham.

Just Jared has recently reported that Travis Fimmel is currently in New York City, where he is filming a movie on the streets of Brooklyn. The film, which is still untitled, will also star Lena Dunham. The former "Vikings" Season 5 star was also seen in Coney Island by a lucky fan who immediately shared a photo on Twitter.

But is there any chance that Travis Fimmel will ever return in "Vikings" Season 5? Although the "Warcraft" star isn't sure about the possibility, there are speculations that Ragnar Lothbrok could make an appearance in the History series. Some fans believe Ragnar could show up in someone's dream or as a vision to convince his fellow Northmen to fight while they are in England. Find out whether the former King of Kattegat will have a cameo when the fifth season of "Vikings" premieres later this year.
