"Girl Meets World" Season 4 renewal is still lacking on updates since it aired its series finale entitled "Girl Meets Goodbye" in January on Disney Channel. While the show's creator revealed that there are ongoing talks to move "GMW" to another network, the radio silence about its move has led to speculations that the show is gone for good. Will a spinoff series be created instead?

There are no "Girl Meets World" Season 4 renewal updates since Disney Channel announced that the "Boy Meets World" sequel is ending after three seasons. Many fans took the initiative to save the show and encourage other networks to pick up the series, which has taken the attention of several platforms.

Netflix has already confirmed that it would not be picking up "Girl Meets World" Season 4, but there are other networks remaining such as Amazon Prime, Freeform and many more. Series creator Michael Jacobs has also confirmed that there are several networks that have expressed interest in picking up the show, but no word is out yet with regard to the show's renewal.

This led to speculations that "Girl Meets World" Season 4 renewal is unlikely to happen; instead, a spinoff series is being proposed to be done. In a recent post on Twitter, Will Friedle admitted that he is interested in doing a "GMW" spinoff based on Eric Matthews.

Several fans expressed their support for any "Girl Meets World" spinoff series so long as the series lives in one way or another. Meanwhile, Rowan Blanchard recently told The Huffington Post (via M Magazine) that being on "GMW" meant a lot to her and her role helped her with her acting projects.

"My favorite part about being in 'Girl Meets World' was having this amazing camp that I got to go to for four years, where I learned basically 75% of the stuff I know in general," she shared.

Should "Girl Meets World" Season 4 renewal happen or should they consider doing a "GMW" spinoff instead? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
