'Descendants Of The Sun' Stars Song Joong Ki & Song Hye Kyo Ready To Admit Relationship Status?

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have been subjects of dating rumors for quite awhile now. Whispers and speculations revealed that the "Descendants of the Sun" stars are finally going to break their silence regarding their relationship status in their upcoming interview together for the W Korea magazine. Earlier reports also suggests that the actress is her co-stars confidant making them even closer to each other.

Korea Portal reported that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are going to be featured in W Korea magazine and they're allegedly going to set the record straight in their highly-anticipated interview. The 35-year-old actress has already appeared on the magazine, while the "Descendants of the Sun" actor is going to front the magazine next month. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have not appeared together on the cover of the W magazine yet but it is certainly not impossible to happen considering their popularity as individual artists and as co-stars.

While their W Korea magazine interview is still uncertain, one thing is for sure: their friendship has definitely come a long way. Earlier reports revealed that Song Joong Ki was disappointed for not bringing home the Grand Excellence Award and Song Hye ko came to his aid. Chatt Sports Net reported that Song Joong Ki became very depressed after failing to nab the prestigious award at the 2016 Korean Drama Awards.

 The 31-year-old South Korean actor definitely needed consoling from his closest friends and there were speculations that his "Descendants of the Sun" leading lady Song Hye Ko was comforting him. Song Joong Ki probably felt that he let the cast and crew down which resulted to his depression. Despite of Song Joong Ki's loss, it wasn't all bad news for the "Descendants of the Sun" team. The show won the award for Best Drama, which gives Song Joong Ki a reason to celebrate despite his loss.

The popularity of "Descendants of the Sun" and the undeniable chemistry of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo lead to whispers of a possibility of "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2, Poor Primadonna shared. But with Song Joong Ki's new movie "Battleship Island" already on its way, it is still uncertain if "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 will be happening soon.
