Following the premiere of its season finale episode, "13 Reasons Why" has revealed that Alex was the unidentified 17-year-old who had suffered a gunshot wound to the head. What is more, the Liberty High School's principal explains that the injury was allegedly self-inflicted. Despite being a tragic event, things still seems to be unclear, which has led the show's fans to arrive with two theories about this situation; either it was really suicide, or a murder.

According to Buzz Feed, several fans of the Netflix show believe that it was Tyler, the creepy stalker photographer, who is to be blamed for Alex's death. It can be recalled that Tyler has always been bullied throughout the entire run of "13 Reasons Why," and, at the end, it was found that he has a handful of guns. What made it seemingly possible for him to have killed Alex is that after he has been seen to have guns, he was allegedly looking at Alex's picture in the last few minutes of the series.

On the other hand, for the alternate theory, Refinery 29 reports that at the end of the episode, Tyler has reportedly seen to be taking Alex's photo while remembering a time Alex was kind to him. That said, other fans of "13 Reasons Why" speculate that Tyler must have chosen to spare Alex. Furthermore, it was noted that Alex has cleaned his room before his alleged, suicide attempt, which Hannah has also done in the series before she ended her own life. With that, things are getting a little bit clear that Alex must have probably pulled the trigger himself since he was said to be exhibiting suicidal tendencies.

Meanwhile, creators of "13 Reasons Why" are yet to release a statement following these controversial episode. Ultimately, to be updated of the freshest TV series and movies, be sure to check them only here on Celebeat.
