Amber Heard had a crazy 2016 but things appear to be looking up for the "Justice League" actress. It has recently been confirmed that Heard is currently dating billionaire Elon Musk and the star of "Aquaman" seems to be having the time of her life. However, Heard's ex Johnny Depp isn't very happy at the moment. The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" actor is reportedly struggling with financial woes. Does it have anything to do with the massive settlement between Depp and his ex-wife?

People couldn't stop talking about Amber Heard and her alleged new boyfriend Elon Musk. The "Justice League" star has been spotted with the SpaceX billionaire but the relationship has not been confirmed until recently. Heard may have made things official by sharing a picture with Musk on Instagram. There is a visible kiss mark on Musk's cheek which may have been placed thereby the "Aquaman" actress. After all, she did add the caption, "Cheeky." Needless to say, the new couple are clearly enjoying each other's company and don't seem to have anything to worry about. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Heard's ex-husband Johnny Depp.

While Amber Heard and Elon Musk have been hanging out and having fancy dinners, Johnny Depp has been busy filing a lawsuit against his former managers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Fantastic Beasts 2" actor is suing The Management Group for allegedly mishandling his finances, causing him to be in debt of around $40 million. TMG has filed a countersuit on grounds that Depp's financial troubles were caused by his own extravagant lifestyle.

Johnny Depp may be struggling at the moment but that doesn't mean he is out of work. Depp will appear as Captain Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" on May 26. Amber Heard will have a cameo as Meera in "Justice League", which premieres on November 17.
