Two more episodes in "Criminal Minds" until fans get to see Shemar Moore reprising his role as Derek Morgan in the popular police procedural crime series. Moore is considered as the muscle of the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit), who was always the first guy to chase down the unsubs (Unknown Subject). He was the one that fans always see kicking doors. When he decided to depart the show, fans were heartbroken and then, there's Thomas Gibson, who was fired from the series.

Mandy Patinkin's departure from "Criminal Minds" who played as Senior Supervisory Special Agent Jason Gideon surprised most fans. He was one of the show's foundations and have helped the series earn its good standing. He did not return to the show's third season, citing creative differences and said that he loathed the show's violence.

"The biggest public mistake I ever made was that I chose to do "Criminal Minds" in the first place," Patinkin told New York Magazine. He further explained that he thought the show was different and that he never thought it would kill and rape all women in almost every episode. With his departure, fans focused more on the show's major characters such as Shemar Moore, Thomas Gibson, among others.

Aaron Hotchner is the BAU's unit chief in "Criminal Minds" and was loved by so many fans despite being serious almost all the time, where everyone barely saw him with is wit and humor. Until he was fired from the series because of an alleged dispute with one of the episode writers that he was directing. Fans continued to initiate their #NoHotchNoWatch and even filed for a petition to bring him back to the show. Right now, the petition needs at least 139 people to sign to reach its 500 signatures.

Earlier reports from Celebeat suggest that Thomas Gibson is still possible to return to "Criminal Minds" especially that Moore is set to return for the season 12 episode finale. Fans are hoping to see him in season 13 as he was only written off from the series to enter the witness protection program. The show's ratings have significantly declined after he and Moore departed and fans believe that they are the only ones who can save the show's ratings.

What do you think of having Thomas Gibson back in "Criminal Minds"? Will you watch season 13 without him? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
