Rumors have it that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's marriage is facing a tough moment due to infertility issues. It has been previously reported that the pair have been fighting most of the time regarding baby matters.

It has been previously reported that Ian Somerhalder can't wait to become a father while Nikki Reed is still not ready to give her career up to focus on becoming a mom. Talking to ET Canada at the time, Ian Somerhalder shared his excitement of adding kids to his and Nikki Reed's life. "Oh, I will one day have amazing children with my beautiful wife," he told the site. "I am so blessed that I did, indeed, find this human being that can deal with me and is also the most caring, compassionate person I've ever known. That's why I wake up happy."

Despite Nina Dobrev's ex' enthusiasm, Nikki Reed has never talked about starting a family which made people think that she may not be as ready for parenthood like Ian Somerhalder. However, the actor's social media posts revealed that he and his wife are not having issues and are doing just fine.
