"Prison Break" season 5 may not have reached the end of the line just yet but it seems that Wentworth Miller is already eyeing to reprise another role. Michael Scofield himself is giving up being a protagonist on the hit FOX show to be a villain in "The Flash."

The synopsis of the season 3 episode 22 of the television series adaptation of the DC Comics revealed that Leonard Snart/Captain Cold will be back in "The Flash." The villain was previously played by Wentworth Miller and the brief summary confirmed that the "Prison Break" season 5 star will return to reprise his villain role.

"With only 24 hours left until Savitar murders Iris (Candice Patton), Barry (Grant Gustin) struggles to save the woman he loves and makes the choice to use any means necessary to do so," "The Flash" season 3 episode 22 synopsis states. "Realizing he has one option left to save her, The Flash turns to Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) for help."

Meanwhile, despite the return of "Prison Break" season 5, the highly-successful Fox show is only set for nine episodes. But even with that update, Wentworth Miller is still encouraging fans to not give up on more episodes or even more seasons of the show.

Even though Wentworth Miller is expected to shoot for "The Flash" soon, it's quite obvious that the 44-year-old actor is still not ready to let go of his iconic characters, Michael Scofield, in the "Prison Break" series.

The star even shared that the fate of "Prison Break" lies in the hands of its viewers. He further noted that if "Prison Break" season 5 will be received well by fans, then there is a high chance that more episodes or seasons will be considered.
