Lionsgate has officially given the green light for "Now You See Me 3," as the second installment of the franchise raked in earnings as much as the first one. As Forbes notes, the first installment earned $117.7 million in North America and $351.7m worldwide while the second one earned $334.8m worldwide.

The second installment, however, has seen a change in some of the cast members from the first "Now You See Me" film. For instance, Isla Fisher did not participate in the second film because she was in the middle of her pregnancy.

Fisher was replaced by Lizzy Caplan in "Now You See Me 2" and the second installment also introduced Jay Chou in a small role. While Caplan's role was accepted by viewers, many fans could not help but wonder whether Fisher could return for "Now You See Me 3."

Cinema Blend reports that "Now You See Me 3" will see the entire cast return, including Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg as well as Caplan. There has also been a bit of a change in the third installment, as the film will be getting new writers, Neil Widener and Gavin James.

The plot for "Now You See Me 3" still remains to be known, as details for the upcoming installment are still scarce. Many fans are expecting to see the third installment to be released in 2018.
