The TV ratings for "Chicago Fire" has significantly increased since it first aired in October 2012 and has had several spin-offs such as "Chicago PD," "Chicago Med" and "Chicago Justice." As usual, season 5 finale is expected to bring some explosives and would be intense for a lot of the major characters. It is also expected that some characters would be dealing with difficult decisions that they have to consider. Additionally, it sees Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Gabby Dawson (Monica Raymund) fighting over the latter's father (guest star Daniel Zacapa).

"Chicago Fire" season 5 finale sees Dawson's father overstaying in their place and Casey is not too happy with this situation. For him, it seems that his father-in-law doesn't have any plan leaving their home anytime soon, which pisses him off. Naturally, as a daughter, Dawson doesn't have the guts to tell her father to leave, which will create more tension between her and Casey.

As CarterMatt points out, Dawson and Casey's lives in "Chicago Fire" have been challenging the couple. The season finale looks like someone is in danger and this would be a painful moment for them. As a lieutenant in charge of Truck 81, Casey has so many things in his mind and is determined to stand for his first responders' bill.

The promo for "Chicago Fire" season 5 finale shows Casey being trapped inside a huge factory fire and is unable to get out of it since the exit is being blocked. Cruz (Joe Minoso) with the other firefighters attempts to save him but an explosion shakes the location, leaving them unable to go to him. Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) can be seen on the radio and Casey tries to talk to Dawson telling her how much he loves her.

As posted on TV Guide, "Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 22 is titled "My Miracle." It is slated to air on May 16 at 10 PM on NBC. Stay tuned to Celebeat for more entertainment updates.
